employees as well as helping to stop the spread of the virus in our community.
The following strategies have been implemented in response to the significant risks presented by
COVID-19 and to ensure compliance with the current government restrictions.
- We have suspended most community-based activities
- We have suspended most supports that were previously provided at Pinnacle day service sites and have limited activities on site for those after direct consultation
- Under an agreement with Possability, our staff are now providing day supports in group homes in Ararat and Stawell.
- We continue to provide essential personal supports in consultation with families and client representatives.
- Our supported employees have resumed work where they have chosen to do so, and our businesses are open. We have been deemed eligible for job keeper payments
- We have increased infection control procedures and risk assessments. PPE has been distributed to all locations
- Our employees have completed COVID-19 specific infection control training.
- We are maintaining social distancing wherever possible, with many staff working from home.
- We have communicated with clients, families and staff on developments as they occur.
- We are supporting our clients to understand Coronavirus and the precautions that we all need to take to overcome this challenge.
